My parents came up to Manhattan yesterday. We arrived at Tim Bonnell's K-State tailgate bright and early at 8AM today. My mother was in blue (Jayhawk, KU) and my father decided to wear a Shocker shirt (yellow, WSU shockers). We all gathered with anticipation until the gates opened to the Bill Snyder Football Stadium. 1110AM was kick off! The game went back and forth KSU and then KU and then tied at half-time!
Life was good until the last 7 minutes-KU won 30 to 24! I am happy either way, but living in Manhattan makes it a sad day. I was glad that my parents (specifically my mom) got to see KU win!
