My garden is abundant and I still have more to pick today. I have been suppling my neighbors with fresh veggies because we are unable to eat all of them. I may look into canning some next year if we plant our own garden. We were so blessed that the previous owners had planted this garden. Matt has made pico on a regular basis as well as enjoying fresh green beans and tomatoes! Yum!

I love fresh veggies, but the hot peppers, not so much! If you left those little tomatoes on our doorstep, they would not last! :-)
Pat M, our coworker at the ER, told me you can put peppers and tomatoes in ziploc freezer bags and freeze them for a few months. I told her about our bumper crop of tomatoes and that I don't know how to can properly. I have 7 quart-sized freezer bags in the freezer now, so we can have garden tomato salsa this fall! :)
I am so jealous of your harvest! I am still waiting on red tomatoes, grown on the back porch of my apartment. I went out and counted them yesterday...If they turn red, I will end up with 10 smallish tomatoes...I hope they hurry!
