On Saturday July 3rd we went to Mt. Gretna for an engagement party of a co-worker. When Matt and I arrived, we felt like we had walked into a northeast movie. The place is so clean and just felt iconic. No alcohol, no animals (except service animals), no throwing objects except volleyballs at the volleyball court. It was such a beautiful day and I cannot wait to go back! There is a fee and for more info you can click here
We didn't bring our suits because we weren't sure what the lake would be like....I am soooooo coming back with my suit next time!
After the cookout and sometime for me feet in the water we headed to the Jigger shop with some friends. The Jigger Shop has been around since 1895! For more info click here.
This is a chocolate Jigger- 2 scoops of ice cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallow cream, and a secret topping! YUM!!!
Matt got some sun! He also had a delicious Root Beer float!
We had such a wonderful time and were so blessed to spend sometime with TJ and Georgina with their children during the day! We have to do this again and it's less than 12 miles from our home!!!
